ABOUT US
Built for churches.
Not off of them.
Church management software that gives every church every feature for one honest price. No modules to unlock. No per-member fees. No annual contracts. No "contact us for pricing."
OUR STORY
Why Kinship exists
If you have ever managed the technology behind a church, you already know the frustration.
You start with spreadsheets and Google Forms. They work for a while. Then your church grows, and suddenly you are stitching together five different tools — one for your member directory, one for email, one for giving, one for check-in, one for volunteer scheduling — and none of them talk to each other. So you look at the established church management platforms.
And then you see the pricing.
$200 a month. $400 a month. $600 a month. Custom quotes that require a sales call. Annual contracts with auto-renewal clauses. Modules that cost extra. Features locked behind higher tiers. Per-member pricing that punishes you for the very growth you have been praying for.
These are tools built for churches — organizations that run on the tithes and offerings of generous people — and they are priced like enterprise software.
Something about that never sat right with us.
OUR VALUES
What we believe
Church software should be a tool for ministry, not a line item that competes with it.
Every dollar your church spends on overpriced software is a dollar that does not feed a family at your food pantry. It does not send a student on a mission trip. It does not pay the worship leader who has been volunteering for three years. It does not keep the lights on in the building where your community gathers every Sunday.
Technology should serve the mission, not consume the budget.
We believe that when a church grows from 100 members to 300 members, the software bill should not triple. Growth is something to celebrate, not something to penalize.
Every church deserves access to the same tools.
Whether you have 50 people or 800 — the same communication engine, the same event management, the same giving platform, the same volunteer scheduling. Not a watered-down version because you cannot afford the "Pro" tier.
You should pay exactly what it costs. Not a penny more.
When we send your emails or text messages through our delivery partners, you pay exactly what it costs us to send them. Zero markup, always.
PRICING MODEL
How our pricing works
We want to be completely transparent about how we make money, because we think you deserve to know.
Five automated tiers based on active members. One set of features. Transparent pass-through costs. That is the whole model.
OUR ADVANTAGE
Why we can do this
Kinship was built by a software engineer, not a venture capital firm.
There are no investors demanding higher margins. No board meetings about quarterly revenue targets. No private equity firm looking to extract returns by raising your prices every year. No sales team incentivized to lock you into a contract you cannot easily leave.
This is software built by someone who saw a problem — churches paying too much for tools that should be simple and affordable — and had the skills to build the solution.
Our costs are low because we built Kinship with a modern, efficient technology stack that runs on minimal infrastructure. We do not have a downtown office or a 200-person staff. We have servers, code, and a commitment to doing right by the churches we serve.
That means we can offer what the larger platforms cannot: everything, for everyone, at a price that respects the nature of who you are and what you do.
